Raytheon is currently seeking a seasoned professional for our
Principal Program Quality Lead , Quality and Mission Assurance
(QMA) position within our Advanced Sensors Program group at our
Plano, TX site. This is a highly visible role which requires
excellent collaboration and partnering skills, strong business
acumen, expertise in engineering and manufacturing, risk and
opportunity management, and quality systems compliance. This
position will report directly to Quality & Mission Assurance
(Q&MA) Lead for the Advanced Sensor Programs (ASP) within the
Naval Power SBU. You will engage on both tactical and strategic
levels, collaborating with Development, Sustainment and Development
peers across the organization, ensuring execution effectiveness and
driving efficiency improvements across the program. On programs,
you will ensure delivered products and services meet Customer and
Raytheon requirements, groom program risks and opportunities,
provide technical oversight in resolution of high-visibility
program Q&MA issues, assess system and mission readiness, as
well as foster strong Customer relationships and expectation
alignment. This is an “on-site” position in Plano, TX. What You
Will Do: Represent Quality and Mission Assurance (QMA) on
Development/Production/Sustainment program or project management
teams and/or capture teams including authoring Basis of Estimates
(BOEs) for the quality portion of new program bids. Support the
communication of program goals, targets, requirements and customer
feedback. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners with
program management to define and implement quality improvement
strategies. Assist in providing program directions to ensure
quality tasking is accomplished within budget, on time and as
defined in program planning. Prepare, collect, analyze, and
maintain Quality metrics. Establish customer relations, process and
validate customer corrective action requests. Ensure customer
quality requirements flow down to suppliers and supplier quality
and supplier engineering efforts to help ensure compliance with the
supplier program quality plan. Assess impact and report potential
customer escapes. Ensure reviews and assessments of program
performance are performed, including self-guided technical
assessments of systems engineering, Quality Assurance (QA), lessons
learned, technology, production and programmatic (cost, schedule,
and risks) practices assuring Quality Management System (QMS)
processes are defined and implemented. Ensure Quality and Mission
Assurance engagement in engineering development, design, and test
requirements verification, including the transition of design to
production Review and approve program documentation, including but
not limited to, specifications, drawings, test plans, procedures,
instructions and standard operating procedures. Act as the voice of
the customer, ensuring mission results. Execute Quality initiatives
regarding Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE) and APQP
(AS9145). Oversee nonconforming material review and disposition.
Guide root cause corrective action (RCCA) activities for systemic
issues. Support AS9100 Internal, Corporate, and Certification
Audits Implement APQP as applicable. Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of eight (8)
years of relevant experience in the areas below; Working experience
in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or Quality Active and
transferable final U.S. government issued Top Secret or TS/SCI
security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S.
citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a
security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer: Experience in systems
engineering, reliability and system safety requirements. Working
experience in design and development within systems, hardware
(electrical or mechanical), or manufacturing engineering Experience
in predictive and proactive measures and metrics assessments and
actions to improve performance or mitigate problems Experience
using written/verbal presentation skills. Experience using
Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience
collaborating with program team members to develop practical
solutions to complex problems. Prior experience in the Aerospace or
Defense industry. Experience using Root Cause and Corrective Action
or a proven close- loop corrective action system. Raytheon Customer
Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE) or Industry Six Sigma
Greenbelt Certification. Experience with Earned Value Management,
Cost Account Management, and Risk and Opportunity Management.
Experience with Material and Failure nonconformance review boards
(Material Review Board/Failure Review Board). Experience with
Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)/AS9145 and utilizing
resources such as Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Key
Characteristics, Design Failure Modes, and Effects Analysis
(DFMEA), Production Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEA)
and/or Control Plans. Experience in First Article Inspections per
AS9102 Experience Purchase Order Quality Requirements (Q-Notes,
STAMP). Experience comprehending and translating system
requirements as well as contractual requirements to ensure full
compliance is flowed down through product, assembly, and test

role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a
good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX
