Description:The Healthcare Services Business Development Manager is a high-energy and results-driven contributor to Drug Free Sport International/International Doping Tests & Management (DFSI-IDTM) with a hunter mentality to drive new business in the healthcare and life sciences sector. This seasoned business development individual thrives on finding, engaging, and converting leads to long-term clients. As an individual contributor, key contributions include seeking new opportunities, building strong relationships with key decision-makers, and closing complex, high-value partnerships. This role is ideal for a dynamic professional who is a self-starter with a hunter mindset, strong sales acumen, and a deep understanding of the healthcare services landscape. The position is focused on high-impact growth activities including cold outreach, pipeline accelerations and closing; not account management or farming.Essential Responsibilities: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the healthcare and life sciences market through outbound outreach, strategic networking and lead generation.Own the full sales lifecycle - prospecting, qualification, solution positioning, pricing, proposal development, negotiation and closing.Build and maintain a dynamic pipeline of qualified leads using CRM tools and data-driven strategies.Leverage and expand personal network to create opportunities and shorten sales cycles.Generate new business opportunities through direct outreach, existing industry relationships, and community engagement including actively participate in the healthcare and life sciences community via LinkedIn, industry groups, and conferences.Establish strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers across healthcare stakeholders.Collaborate with leadership to refine messaging, identify target markets and create sales traction that accelerates deal closure.Contribute to the development of scalable sales strategies, playbooks and performance metrics that support aggressive growth targets.Represent the company at industry events and conferences to build brand presence and credibility, generate leads and boost brand visibility. Maintain a pulse on industry trends and market developments to inform strategy and identify new revenue streams.Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.Perform other related duties as assigned.All external applicants must submit a cover letter, resume, and professional references. Requirements:To successfully perform this role, the individual must be a critical thinker, effective communicator, organized, attentive to details, self-directed, and have sound business knowledge including tailored solution selling. The manager must uphold the company's core values and mission, demonstrate integrity to the highest degree. Essential requirements include:4+ years of proven success in B2B sales and/or strategic partnerships within healthcare services, with a strong emphasis on new business development, preferably within healthcare services, life sciences or related sectors.Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or relevant certifications in healthcare, business or sales are a plus.Deep understanding of the healthcare services landscape, particularly the clinical development lifecycle for biopharma and medtech.Proven track record of independently building and scaling revenue-generating relationships from the ground up and ability to close six- to seven-figure deals independently, by managing the full sales cycle from cold outreach to contract negotiation and closing.Exceptional communication, presentation and negotiation skills with the ability to influence senior-level stakeholders.Thrives in a lean, startup-like environment and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with minimal structure and high autonomy.Strong network and reputation in the healthcare or the life sciences industry.Adept at using Microsoft Office Suite.Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences and key industry events as needed.Pass a pre-employment screening including background check, drug test as applicable by state law, higher education and/or certification verification, professional references check, and execution of a confidentiality agreement.
