Shipping Loader Positions

Express Employment Professionals is working with Amarr Garage Doors, a global leader in commercial and residential garage doors manufacturing. They are currently hiring for multiple positions at their 400,000 square feet, 500+ team member Lawrence, KS facility.

The Shipping Loader is responsible for loading garage door sections into semi-trucks. The Shipping Loader works with a team of 3 others. To excel in this position, you should expect to:

• Be comfortable with very heavy lifting
• Be quick to learn and be organized
  This is a position that will have frequent heavy lifting! Must be comfortable continuously lifting 45-60lbs overhead every 20 seconds throughout the shift. Must be able to work on your feet for 12 hours.
  
  Schedule:
  
  • Four shifts: A and B (day shift, 6am to 6pm), C and D (night shift, 6pm to 6am)
  • A/C shifts are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday
  • B/D shifts are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday
    Pay: $18.10 (day shift) and $19.60 (night shift)
