Responsibilities

* Serves as primary point of contact for specific department functions and assists with employee relations issues, questions and concerns.
* Builds and maintains effective working relationships with staff at all levels of the organization.
* Works effectively with Human Resources organization on various HR initiatives.
* Assists with all aspects of recruitment and onboarding efforts; conducts new hire orientation.
* Maintains updates and ensures accuracy of information in HRIS.
* Audits employment related documents for accuracy and compliance.
* Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
* Minimum of one year of professional Human Resources experience.
* Proficient computer skills required, including experience with MS Office Suite software and knowledge of HRIS software.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
* Demonstrated problem solving abilities along with strong time management and prioritization skills.
* Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Ability to meet deadlines, work independently and exercise good judgement.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Must have a strong work ethic and be self-motivated.
* Must possess ability to maintain confidentiality and establish credibility as a trusted HR professional.
* Must be familiar with employment laws and standard HR concepts, practices and procedures along with proven ability to apply that knowledge.
* Must be able to adjust work schedule to accommodate all shifts.
