Lab work involves cleaning and preparing concrete molds and
preparing for and helping with concrete pours in the lab.
Testing times are usually in the morning between 9:30 am to 12
In summer 2021, looking for a team to travel to Minnesota every
other week. Generally, teammates should be available for at least
four days for this purpose, although we are flexible with
availability. The teammates will be paid for 8 hours per day, and
costs, such as hotel, rental car, will be covered by the PI's
project. Additionally, the teammates will receive a per diem to
cover the expenses in Minnesota.
- Able to lift between 35-40 pounds without injury.
During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly
must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer
periods the student hourly must: 1) have been enrolled in no less
than 6 hours in the past spring semester or 2) be pre-enrolled in
upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or 3) be enrolled in
summer session or 4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall
semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate
students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT
apply to Student Hourly appointments).
- One year prior experience in construction or related
