Job Description:

The HR specialist oversee the talent acquisition process, manages credentialing, and assist with employee development coordination. Some responsibilities include: Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and determine selection criteria Source potential candidates (e.g. social platforms and professional networks) Responsible for an effective and engaging applicant experience Serves as the initial point of contact for all job seekers - introducing candidates to the Center's culture, benefits, and values Plan interview and selection process and logistics, including screening calls, assessments, and in-person interviews Assess candidate information, including resumes, cover letter, and contact details, using our applicant tracking system Update and track candidate's progress in applicant tracking system Communicate the hiring process to applicants and interviewees (e.g. regrets, follow-up calls, etc.) Assistant in the design of job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position's requirements Complete reference check Coordinate new hires with HR Generalist Work with HR Director to forecast hiring and recruitment needs Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates Responsibility for all Center credentialing activities Assist with Center training coordination - monitor training completion To be successful in the job, we are looking for a person with the following: High School Diploma or GED equivalent; At least three years prior HR experience in a position of similar scope; Excellent administrative skills to include prior computer experience and strong fluency of Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Strong oral and written communication skills in all circumstances; Strong organizational skills and willingness to handle filing, data entry and accuracy of multiple spreadsheets; An ability to work independently and in cooperation with others; Demonstrated ability to exercise sound independent judgment; Strong interpersonal skills in working with diverse workforce and community; A commitment to interdisciplinary and community mental health center approaches; and Must be able to learn and demonstrate efficiency in the HRIS/ATS within six months An energetic and positive approach to the rapidly evolving changes and challenges of a complex and fast paced work place.
