Some responsibilities include : Assist medical staff with physical assessments (height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, etc.) and associated documentation. Work with medical staff to provide continuity of care to clients in a professional environment. Assist medical staff in performing their duties within the established policies and procedures of the agency. Attend staff and other meetings as indicated by the Medical Service Director. Provide health-related education and resources to clients on issues such as symptoms of mental illness, medication compliance, management of medication side effects, and management of other health conditions that impact mental and overall health such as nutrition, hygiene, diet and wellness. Administer injectable medications as ordered by medical staff and perform other specialized tasks such as assist physicians in examinations and small office procedures. Maintain knowledge of clinical procedures including anatomy, physiology, phlebotomy, first aid and medical terminology. Facilitate client applications for Patient Assistance in various drug company programs. Facilitate communication with pharmacies, local primary care providers, health department(s) and other entities as necessary to insure accuracy and compliance with medical follow-up and treatment recommendations. Provide timely and thorough response to client phone calls regarding medication issues such as refill requests, medication questions, prior authorization for prescriptions, etc. We want you: To be successful in the job, we are looking for a person with the following: Minimum high school diploma CMA Certification Behavioral or mental health experience preferred Position Details: Non-Exempt/Hourly Minimum starting salary: $12.95 per hour Contact Person: Donna Powers EOE
