When you’re off shift, Kansas City, KS 66160 offers easy access to local dining, entertainment, and nearby attractions across the metro area./n /n/nJob Details (Travel Nursing Contract)/n /n - Job Title: Travel CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) / Cardiovascular OR Nurse/n - Location: Kansas City, KS 66160 (On-Site)/n - Weekly Estimated Pay: $3000-$3160/n - Specialty/Unit: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) / Perioperative Services/n - Start Date: 03/29/2026/n - End Date: 06/28/2026/n - Duration: 13 weeks (travel RN contract)/n - Shift: 10-hour day shifts/n - Hours per Week: 40/n - Weekends: As required in rotation/n - On-Call: Approximately 1 weekend per month/n - Holidays: Required (must be willing to take call on holidays)/n - Floating: May float to Bell OR, Cambridge OR, and Sterile Processing Department (SPD) as needed/n /n/nCVOR RN Job Requirements/n /n - Experience: 2 years of recent CVOR experience in a Level I trauma setting, including strong cardiac scrub experience and circulating experience/n - License: Active Kansas Registered Nurse (RN) license/n - Certification: BLS (AHA)/n - Practice Readiness: Comfortable supporting complex cardiac cases in an operating room (OR) environment/n - Preferred Keywords/Skills: Perioperative nursing, sterile technique, patient safety, OR documentation/n /n/nResponsibilities (Cardiovascular OR / Perioperative Nursing)/n /n - Scrub and circulate for cardiovascular and cardiac surgical procedures, maintaining strict sterile technique/n - Prepare the OR suite, instruments, supplies, and equipment specific to cardiac cases to support efficient case flow/n - Anticipate surgeon and procedural needs, prioritizing patient safety, infection prevention, and accurate counts/n - Coordinate with anesthesia, perfusion, surgical team members, and support departments to optimize outcomes/n - Provide timely, accurate documentation and adhere to facility policies, safety protocols, and quality standards/n - Participate in call rotation, including weekends/holidays as scheduled/n - Float to designated perioperative areas (including Sterile Processing Department/SPD) when operationally necessary/n /n/n Apply now to take your next travel nursing assignment as a CVOR Registered Nurse in Kansas City, Kansas.
