AdventHealth Kansas City AdventHealth Kansas City is searching for a highly skilled and patient-focused BC/BE neurohospitalist to add to its busy existing group. Our physicians provide a full range of neurology care – specializing in neurologic consultations, electromyography, and Botox for chronic migraine management. - 1 in 2 call rotation shared with our other hospitalist (2 other neurologists in the group are available to take call from time to time if needed) - 24hr call (inpatient and cover outpatient clinic call at night) - Friday 7am – Friday 7am - EMR – Epic - 10-15 daily inpatients - Average of 1-2 evening calls a week that includes outpatient clinic evening call Employment Details - Base Salary (determined by the number of 24hr shifts worked annually) - Retirement program comprised of a 403(b) matching account and a 457(b) deferred compensation savings plan - Offerings include medical, vision, dental, life insurance, disability coverage - Generous continuing medical education (CME) allowance - Malpractice coverage Knowledge and Skills Required: - Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff, and patients. - Strong communication skills. - Strong medical decision-making skills.
