Emergency Medicine Physician - Locum Tenens Opportunity Near
Spokane, WA We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician
for a locum tenens assignment near Spokane, WA. This position is
available ASAP and will continue on an ongoing basis, providing a
unique opportunity to support a busy emergency department in a
well-equipped facility. Position Overview: Start Date: ASAP -
Ongoing Location: Near Spokane, WA Specialty: Emergency Medicine
Provider Type: Physician Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours
Only Practice Setting: Inpatient Holidays Allowed: New Year's Day,
4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas
Day Patients Per Shift: 10-20 Beds in Department: 10 Rounding: Not
applicable EMR System: Epic Hospital Privileges Required: No
Temporary Privileges Available: Yes, with emergency privileges
granted in 48 hours for providers with an active license and a
clean file. Stroke Certification: Yes Responsibilities: Patient
Care: Manage 10-20 patients per shift in a fast-paced emergency
department. The facility is well-staffed, ensuring you have the
support needed to provide high-quality care. Shift Structure: This
role involves scheduled clinical hours with no call
responsibilities, allowing you to focus solely on patient care
during your shifts. Certification Requirements: ACLS, BLS, ATLS,
and PALS are all required certifications to ensure readiness for
any situation that arises in the emergency department. License
Requirements: An active Washington state license or eligibility
through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) is
required. Practice Details: Inpatient Focus: This position is
entirely inpatient, meaning your expertise will be focused on
treating patients within the hospital setting. Supportive
Environment: You will be part of a dedicated team that is committed
to providing excellent emergency care. The facility uses the Epic
EMR system, which is widely recognized for its efficiency and ease
of use. Requirements: Board Certification: You must be board
certified in Emergency Medicine to qualify for this position.
Licensing: Active Washington state license or IMLC eligibility.
