Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A skilled
Occupational Therapist is needed to provide specialized support
within a school setting in Kansas City, KS. This role involves
evaluating, planning, and implementing therapeutic interventions to
assist students in developing essential skills for academic success
and daily living activities. Key Responsibilities: Conduct
assessments to identify students functional abilities and
challenges Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each
student's needs Collaborate with educators, parents, and other
professionals to support student progress Use therapeutic
techniques to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and
self-care abilities Monitor and document student progress,
adjusting treatment plans as necessary Participate in team meetings
and contribute to IEP development Desired Qualifications: Current
state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist
Experience working with school-aged children in educational
environments Strong communication and interpersonal skills for
collaboration with staff and families Ability to adapt therapeutic
approaches to diverse student populations Willingness to travel
between school sites as required Location: Position based in Kansas
