Job Title: Med/Surg RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 13.5 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of hospital RN experience License: Active Registered Nurse License or Compact Multistate RN License Certifications: BLS, NIH Certification, MOAB Moderate Risk Must-Have: 1 year of hospital RN experience Description: Med/Surg RN position in a general medical and surgical unit. Responsibilities include caring for general medical patients. Areas of focus include cardiology, pulmonary, neurology, nephrology, and surgical patients. The unit consists of a 28-bed general medical area and a 22-bed general surgery area. Emergency coverage is available 24 hours a day. Staffing ratio goal is 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights. This position requires current BLS certification.
