Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Overland Park, KS Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,011 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 12 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of labor experience, preferred some postpartum experience License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or C-EFM Must-Have: Must have a minimum of 2 years of labor experience. Preference for candidates with some postpartum experience. Description: The unit comprises 12 LDRP beds, 2 C-section suites, and 3 triage beds. Patient ratios are 1:1 during active labor, induction, or cesarean section. Postpartum patient ratios are 3:1, and antepartum ratios are 2:1 unless unstable. The unit includes OB Surgical Tech staff who also function as unit secretaries. Key equipment includes GE Fetal Monitors and Novii II. The documentation system used is CPN Centricity Perinatal/Meditech. The unit has a commitment to understanding and learning about each family's birth goals. Procedures performed on the unit include vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D & C, and Jada placement. The unit has a recent remodel completed in 2024 and features a level II NICU. There is 24-hour in-house anesthesia and a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner available. The unit's patient experience rating is in the top 10% for 8 quarters.
