Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/10/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool position requiring a MO or compact RN license and recent hospital experience. Responsibilities - Hospital-based position in the Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool - Assignment is in a Rapid Observation Unit - 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week from 07:00 to 19:30 - Work may include Level II Trauma and Stroke Center patient care - Patient care may involve a diverse medical-surgical and telemetry population - Floating within the Med/Surg Telemetry departments as needed - Uses Epic EMR for charting; prior experience preferred - Assignments include floating to various Med/Surg and Telemetry units based on hospital needs - Orientation includes mandatory modules to be completed via MyPath - Return staff must have a one-year gap before returning as a traveler - Locals accepted within a 50-mile radius at a reduced pay rate - Free parking provided for staff - COVID or compliance vaccinations may be required in accordance with facility policies Requirements - Active MO or compact RN license required; pending license must be in hand before start - Basic Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required - Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting required - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred - Prior travel nursing experience preferred - Epic EMR experience preferred Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-667087.
