Nurse Externship program, designed to provide hands-on experience
in delivering exceptional patient care at one of the nation's
leading healthcare services providers. This structured program
offers the opportunity to work alongside our experienced nursing
staff across various departments, enhancing your understanding and
skills in real-world medical environments. Through guided
mentorship and dedicated training sessions, externs gain invaluable
insights and experience, pivotal for those pursuing a distinguished
nursing career. Assist nursing staff in providing direct patient
care under supervision. Participate in daily clinical rounds and
patient assessments. Document patient status and care provided in
healthcare records accurately. Learn and apply new medical
techniques and protocols. Attend and actively participate in
learning sessions and workshops. Basic clinical nursing skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to adhere to
safety and health policies Strong observational skills Time
management and multitasking abilities Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Basic Life Support
(BLS) Certification, preferred or must be obtained within 90 days
of start date.
