Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Stepdown - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract Overview Job Title: Stepdown RN Facility: Providence Medical Center (PMC) Department: Medical Surgical Acute 7 (61711) Assignment Dates: 02/02/2026 – 05/03/2026 Location: Onsite- Local Candidates Only Pay Hourly: $52.00, Overtime Pay: $78.00, Weekly Gross Pay: $1,872.00 MUST HAVE 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE Shift: - 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Days) - 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Nights) - 3 shifts per week - One weekend required per month Job Description: Providence Medical Center is seeking an experienced Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to acutely ill patients requiring close monitoring. The Stepdown RN will manage patients transitioning from ICU or with higher acuity needs than standard Med-Surg, utilizing strong clinical judgment and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
