Registered Nurse (RN) | Endoscopy Location: Kansas City, MO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,225 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Great IV Skills - Previous Moderate Sedation Experience - Previous Procedural Experience Description: This nursing role involves providing care in an Endoscopy setting. The unit consists of 8 prep beds, 3 GI procedure rooms, and 10 recovery bays. The staff consists of 18 members. Patient ratios are 1:3 in PACU and 1:2 in the prep area. Equipment includes Olympus scopes, ERBE, and Povation. EMR used is Meditech. Typical procedures performed include: - Colonoscopies - EGDs - ERCPs - PEGs - EBUS - EUS - Super D - POEM - ESDBone Marrows The ideal candidate will be kind, caring, and open to learning. Dress code includes a navy scrub color. The role may require one to two days of staying late, working alongside the call nurse until the last patient is dismissed.
