Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Lees Summit, MO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,229 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Specialty Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years in Medical Surgical/Telemetry License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - 2 years of recent specialty experience - Experience in telemetry monitoring - Ability to manage post-cath patients Description: Registered Nurse position available in a medical specialty unit. This role involves providing care in a fast-paced environment. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5. Candidates must have experience in telemetry and managing post-cath patients. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. Weekend shifts are required, with 8 weekend shifts expected in a 6-week schedule. Candidates may float within the scope of practice to meet facility needs. There may be holiday shifts and charge nurse assignments as required. The unit handles a variety of patient diagnoses, including post-operative cases. Interdisciplinary support includes teams for IV therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Candidates will be expected to perform various technical skills, including telemetry monitoring. Special equipment and support services are available on the unit.
