Some specific responsibilities and duties include : Maintain quality assured clinical program development and service delivery consistent with Bert Nash Center mission, values, and goals Financial management of clinical services which includes budgeting, cost and practices which promote fiscal stability, cost-effective and efficient allocation of Center resources and capacity to respond to evolving community needs Provide direct oversight and development of evidenced based programming essential to competitive positioning, accountability to internal and external stakeholders, effective, efficient allocation of Center resources and maintenance of state-of-the-art program delivery Provide direct oversight and development of the Bert Nash clinical program. Work closely with Director of Human Resources and Director of Performance and Quality Improvement Assist Chief Executive Officer and Governing Board of Directors in long-range planning Provide coverage for the Chief Executive Officer as needed Participate in fundraising activities as needed Timely and accurate completion of all paperwork associated with the financial, clinical, legal, or regulatory management of the Center's operations Establish, implement and support policies and processes relevant to clinical services Provide service directors with management consultation as needed in addition to conducting their annual performance evaluation Provide oversight and consultation to ongoing integration of physical and behavioral health partnership. Represent the Center in local and state meetings as needed for program development, financing issues and community partnering. Some travel required Additional responsibilities may be assigned as circumstances warrant Accountability : The Chief Clinical Officer will be directly accountable to the Chief Executive Officer. The Chief Executive Officer will, no less than annually, complete a performance evaluation in compliance with personnel policies. We want you: To be successful in the job, we are looking for a person with the following: Qualifications: Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or other highly related field At least five years of experience in a position of similar scope in a mental health-related business The highest clinical Kansas license in Social Work or Psychology At least five years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting Prefer at least one year of emergency service experience At least five years of experience serving as a supervisor Experience in long-range planning and plan management In-depth familiarity with current trends and probable future directions of the health care industry Established leadership and management skills in effective organization development
