Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer for our
automotive manufacturing client to start immediately at up to
$95k/annually DOE! Receive comprehensive benefits through our
client upon hire! Responsibilities: Support production operations
in minimizing or eliminating equipment and tooling downtime and
scrap through the application of sound analytical methods. Develop
and maintain Process Flow diagrams, PFMEAs, Standard Operating
Procedures, and Line Balance documentation. Achieve or exceed labor
content standards by applying effective assembly techniques and
ergonomic practices. Sustain and enhance error-proofing systems,
cell layout improvements, and ensure Master CAD layouts remain
current. Provide engineering guidance and support for departmental
or maintenance projects and activities. Participate in or lead Lean
and Six Sigma initiatives. Drive and facilitate continuous process
improvement activities. Support, estimate cost, and document all
engineering changes. Take proactive measures to prevent product,
process, or system nonconformances. Implement temporary containment
or corrective actions as needed. Maintain working knowledge of
manufacturing and mechanical processes, including PLC systems,
torque tools, and related equipment. Document all relevant
activities and maintain appropriate records. Follow all company
emergency evacuation procedures to ensure employee safety. Perform
any additional duties as assigned by management. Limits of
Authority Notify the Department Manager of any situations that
could present risks to programs, product quality, facilities,
employee safety, or customer satisfaction. Take action to prevent
product, process, or system nonconformances. Detect and report any
issues related to the product, process, or system. Recommend,
initiate, or provide corrective solutions through proper channels
and ensure successful implementation. Halt further production or
delivery of nonconforming products until issues are resolved.
Initiate project RFQs with complete supporting documentation for
approval signatures. Obtain quotes and negotiate pricing and lead
times with vendors for equipment and tooling. Maintain and secure
approvals for facility layouts and process documentation. Assist
and support project management in meeting established timelines.
Location: Kansas City, KS Schedule/Shift Details: First Shift
Overtime as needed. Qualifications: Minimum of a two-year college
education and one year of experience in manufacturing and assembly
operations, or an equivalent combination of education and
experience. Proficiency in labor analysis and conducting time
studies. Experience with AutoCAD. Working knowledge of PLC systems.
Competence in Windows applications, including Excel, Word, Project,
and PowerPoint. Strong mechanical and technical aptitude. Excellent
leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to
maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
