Monoflo is seeking aself-motivated and success driven Quality Engineer to join our Quality Assurance Team. You will be responsible fortraining Internal Customers to Monoflo's QMS standards, conducting floor inspections, performing CMM inspections, maintaining and improving the ISO 9001:2015 program, and providing feedback to the QA Manager for improvement opportunities. The Quality Engineer will implement and support the migration of the QMS standards and practices into the ERP system (IQMS). The Quality Engineer will provide support at all Monoflo facilities as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists in the validation and verification of new and existing product sampling and testing, and in the documentation for PPAP, FEMA and Control Plans.
• Creates and implements audit templates within IQMS to migrate and streamline the QA inspection process and all other areas of the QMS.
• Ability to operate CMM devices and interpret scan data for specifications.
• Provides support for and documentation of External Customer Plant Audits.
• Training of Internal Customers in quality points and ensuring that Quality Assurance is maintained through formal auditing processes.
• Responsible for warehouse inspections for non-conforming product.
• Assists in maintaining the company's compliance to the ISO 900:2015 program, including internal auditing of standard processes and document control.
• Maintains all measuring and inspection equipment to ensure product quality.
• Will perform Gage R&R when required.
• Aids Owners in root cause analysis and in the completion of Corrective Action Reports in IQMS.
• Performs all other duties as required to ensure a successful Quality Management System. Qualifications:
  • The individual must possess an Associate Degree and a minimum 1-2 years of education and experience in Quality Assurance in Lean Manufacturing and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
  • Must be self-motivated, work independently, and plan and manage multiple duties and projects simultaneously.
  • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Power Point).
  • Ability to use the IQMS ERP software in maintaining the QMS standards.
  • Competency in the use of standard inspection, measurement, and test equipment.
  • The individual must be able to read and interpret part drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with CMM scanning devices.
