Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. This opportunity seeks a skilled Special Education
Teacher to provide exceptional services for students in grades
K-12. The role involves working with self-contained, resource, and
special day classrooms, supporting diverse learning needs across
elementary, middle, and high school levels in Kansas City, MO. This
contract position offers a flexible workweek of 30 to 37.5 hours,
spread over five days, with a competitive hourly pay rate. Key
Responsibilities: Deliver individualized instruction tailored to
students with special education needs across K-12 grades. Manage
self-contained, resource, and special day classrooms effectively to
foster academic and social development. Collaborate with
educational teams to create and implement IEPs aligned with state
guidelines. Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies
to maximize learning outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation and
communication with families and support staff. Qualifications:
Active State Teaching License in Special Education. Experience
working with K-12 students in self-contained and resource
classrooms preferred. Strong knowledge of special education
strategies and compliance standards. Excellent communication and
organizational skills. Location: Kansas City, Missouri Benefits:
