Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school
district in Lawrence, KS is seeking a skilled professional to serve
as a School Psychologist supporting students across all grade
levels, from Kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract
position offers the opportunity to apply psychological expertise in
an educational setting, helping to promote student well-being and
academic success. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct psychological
assessments and evaluations for students in grades K-12, including
those in grades 6-8 and 9-12. - Collaborate with educators,
parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized
education plans (IEPs) and interventions. - Provide counseling and
support services to address behavioral, social, and emotional
challenges. - Assist in crisis intervention and contribute to the
development of positive school climate initiatives. - Utilize data
to inform decision-making and support student achievement and
mental health. Qualifications: - Licensed or certified School
Psychologist with relevant credentials. - Experience working with
elementary, middle, and high school students. - Strong knowledge of
psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies. -
Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to work
effectively within a school system and maintain confidentiality.
