Job Description Job Description Tax Manager Kansas City, MO | Hybrid work environment ARC Group is recruiting for a Tax Manager on behalf of our client, a nationally recognized Top 15 CPA firm . This role is ideal for a tax professional with strong experience in ASC 740 (Accounting for Income Taxes) and corporate taxation , who is looking to grow within a collaborative, high-performing firm. Key Responsibilities Manage and review ASC 740 income tax provisions , including current and deferred tax calculations, uncertain tax positions, and related disclosures. Oversee and review corporate tax compliance for federal, state, and local income tax filings. Research and interpret U.S. GAAP and corporate income tax law to support compliance, planning, and financial reporting. Provide technical tax guidance to clients and internal teams on complex tax matters. Assist with tax planning strategies and support clients through audits and regulatory inquiries as needed. Mentor and develop junior staff, reviewing work and ensuring quality and compliance with firm standards.
