The Hands-On Plant Controller is a pivotal role within the organization, responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the manufacturing operations. This position requires a dynamic individual who can blend strategic financial oversight with hands-on involvement in day-to-day activities.   • Financial Oversight: Manage all financial operations of the plant, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Cost Management: Implement rigorous cost control measures and conduct regular cost analyses to identify areas for improvement. Optimize resource allocation and reduce waste to enhance profitability.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory accounting, including valuation, turnover, and obsolescence, to ensure accuracy and efficiency in stock management.
  • Capital Investment: Evaluate and advise on capital investments, ensuring they meet ROI objectives and align with strategic goals. Manage the capital budgeting process.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations, as well as adherence to company policies and procedures. Oversee the preparation and filing of all financial reports.
  • Operational Support: Work closely with the plant management team to develop and implement financial strategies that support operational excellence.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop the plant finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.Profile
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role within a manufacturing environment, medical device industry experience a plus.
    • Profound knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
    • Strong analytical skills and experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
    • Demonstrated ability to work closely with operational teams and provide strategic financial insights.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
    • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite. ERP system experience is a must.Job Offer
